Exercise 5 — Change of Position

Applies to: RH – F, FL, T, L, MT, W; Level V
Points: 15 p

Testing Area

  • F, FL, T, MT: table, 100×100 cm, height 60 cm
  • L: snow block, natural elevation, or table (100×100 cm, 60 cm)
  • W: surfboard or paddle board also permitted

Permitted AC/VC

  • 1 AC and/or VC to jump up and stay
  • 1 AC and/or VC for each position (Sit / Down / Stand)
  • 1 AC or VC for the recall
  • 1 AC or VC for GS

Execution

  1. RDT assumes GS 10 steps from the table.
  2. DH sends D with AC/VC to jump onto the table.
  3. D jumps without hesitation and remains.
  4. At TJ instruction to proceed: DH decides the sequence of positions: Sit / Down / Stand (any order).
  5. DH decides whether to stand next to or move away from the table (distance not prescribed per spec — DH’s call).
  6. After all positions: DH recalls D with 1 AC or VC. D comes and sits in front. GS ends exercise.

Evaluation — Faults

  • Position not shown, wrong, or D does not remain in place after mounting:
    • F, FL, T, L, MT: −4 points per fault
    • W: −3 points per fault
  • D jumps off table prematurely → Insufficient (0 for that partial)
  • Hesitant mounting
  • Slow recall
  • Mistakes in front-sit and GS ending
